We are seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will serve as a vital link in our healthcare delivery chain, ensuring the accurate collection and processing of specimens for a wide variety of needs, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, applying your expertise to maintain the highest standards of patient care and data integrity.
Your day will involve a blend of direct patient interaction and essential laboratory support. You will be responsible for collecting specimens from diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric clients, while administering oral solutions as trained. Beyond the draw, you will verify test orders using lab technology systems, manage billing information, and process specimens through labeling, centrifuging, and preparation for transport. You will also handle non-patient facing duties such as inventory management, sanitization, and maintaining critical logs to ensure compliance with departmental protocols.

Candidates must possess three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. While medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification are preferred (and required in certain states), we welcome applicants who demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care. Please note that reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required for this position.
