About the Role
This position serves as the operational and clinical leader for the pharmacy department, accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice within the bounds of state and federal laws and corporate policies. The role exists to maximize financial performance while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and service excellence. You will act as a role model for the pharmacy team, balancing the demands of a high-paced environment with the need for strategic oversight in budgeting, inventory control, and staff development.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a dynamic mix of clinical leadership and business management. You will supervise and coach direct reports, handling performance reviews and providing feedback to foster a culture of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Beyond managing the team, you will directly engage with the community by detailing to local physicians, promoting public health initiatives, and managing complex customer interactions, including complaints and conflict resolution.
You will also oversee critical financial and operational metrics, such as monitoring third-party profitability, managing prescription pricing, and ensuring efficient warehouse utilization. The role requires the ability to adapt to a stressful environment, travel independently as business needs dictate, and provide compassionate support to diverse populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
- verified2+ years related retail experience
- verifiedMinimum 21 years of age
- verifiedLicense must be in good standing
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret prescriptions and documents
- verifiedAbility to write routine reports and correspondence
- verifiedRelevant Pharmacy Board Certification(s)
