Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Orlando, FL. This role is vital to ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of medication in accordance with company policy and State laws and regulations.
In this position, you will be the backbone of our pharmacy operations, managing everything from inventory control and stock management to the precise preparation of various medication forms, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments. Your day will involve maintaining packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and preparing orders for final delivery. You will interact harmoniously with facilities, physicians, and fellow pharmacy employees, promoting teamwork and demonstrating strong leadership and professionalism.
The schedule for this position includes nights and weekends, requiring flexibility and a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. We value patience, tact, and strong communication skills as you navigate the needs of residents and management.
