The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, NM, seeking a dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join their hospital pharmacy team. This role plays a vital part in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care to patients when they need it most.

This role is based in a hospital setting and may include rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed. It offers a flexible PRN scheduling option, allowing you to gain valuable hospital pharmacy experience while working alongside a supportive and collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications
- check_circleSupport safe and timely medication delivery to nursing units and hospital departments
- check_circleMaintain accurate medication records, labeling, and storage procedures
- check_circleSupport insurance processing and prior authorizations as directed by the Pharmacist
- check_circleOperate and maintain pharmacy automation systems and equipment efficiently
- check_circleDeliver exceptional customer service to patients, nurses, physicians, and healthcare staff
- check_circleMaintain compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations
- check_circleCompound sterile and non-sterile preparations following safety and compliance standards

Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED
- verifiedCurrent New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain)
