Start your pharmacy career in a unique, hands-on role that goes beyond the typical pharmacy setting. At SOFIE, we specialize in preparing radiopharmaceuticals — life-saving imaging drugs used in hospitals and clinics across the country. Our mission is to ensure these critical medications are prepared with the highest standards of safety and precision to support patient care nationwide.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work side-by-side with licensed Nuclear Pharmacists in a clean, highly controlled environment to help prepare and distribute these important medications. This position involves performing laboratory and pharmacy-related duties under direct supervision, including the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF. You will gain valuable experience in sterile compounding, quality control, and pharmacy operations while navigating a fast-paced, science-driven workplace.
The role requires working in a clean room and managing occupational exposure to radiation. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring aseptic operations follow internal procedures and FDA regulations, and performing radiation safety duties according to corporate compliance programs. Your work directly impacts patient care by ensuring the accuracy and quality of life-saving imaging drugs.
If you are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to grow, we want to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our team. We look for candidates who are efficient, accountable, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
