About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work side-by-side with licensed Nuclear Pharmacists in a clean, highly controlled environment to help prepare and distribute these important medications. This position involves performing laboratory and pharmacy-related duties under direct supervision, including the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF. You will gain valuable experience in sterile compounding, quality control, and pharmacy operations while navigating a fast-paced, science-driven workplace.
The role requires working in a clean room and managing occupational exposure to radiation. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring aseptic operations follow internal procedures and FDA regulations, and performing radiation safety duties according to corporate compliance programs. Your work directly impacts patient care by ensuring the accuracy and quality of life-saving imaging drugs.

- check_circleClean classified and non-classified areas and perform environmental monitoring
- check_circlePerform aseptic operations including gowning, cleaning, and environmental monitoring
- check_circleExecute radiation safety duties per corporate compliance program and site licensing
- check_circleEnter data into Pinestar for end-of-day and daily dose management reports
- check_circleManage inventory levels, reporting, and material acceptance according to SOPs
- check_circleProvide customer service by taking orders and documenting complaints
- check_circleCompound, dispense, and distribute FDG and NaF radiopharmaceuticals
- check_circleEnsure compliance with USP <797>, <823>, <825> regulations and state pharmacy requirements
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma required
