As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications while maintaining accurate drug inventory and records. You will work within a dynamic hospital environment, assisting in sterile and non-sterile compounding, handling hazardous medications, and managing unit dosing and controlled substances. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy department.
You will be part of a team that fosters a positive, cooperative environment, providing orientation and training to new members and adapting to frequent interruptions and changing workloads. Your work will directly impact the pharmaceutical care needs of a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, obstetric, and oncology patients. We value your ability to communicate effectively, maintain a pleasant and helpful attitude, and contribute to the effective operation of the department through compliance with workflow schedules and department initiatives.
