About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional patient care. You will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining drug inventory, and managing records, working strictly under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. This role is integral to the effective operation of our hospital pharmacy, ensuring the safe handling of medications ranging from neonatal and pediatric to geriatric and oncology needs.

Your day will involve a dynamic environment where you must remain mentally alert and maintain concentration with attention to detail for prolonged periods. You will navigate a high-stress setting, utilizing advanced pharmacy automation and equipment to support our team. Beyond technical duties, you will foster a team environment by providing orientation and training to new members, communicating effectively with staff, and adhering to our Standards of Performance Service Guidelines. You will be expected to adapt to frequent interruptions and changes in workload while maintaining a pleasant, courteous, and helpful attitude toward patients and colleagues.
