Based at Seton Medical Center Austin, this Pharmacy position operates on a rotating shift schedule as a PRN role. You will serve as a vital partner to the Pharmacist, providing crucial technical support and pharmacy services to ensure the accurate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders. Your work will directly impact patient care by precisely preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounds and managing the repackaging of bulk medications.
In this role, you will optimize pharmacy workflow and inventory by refilling automated dispensing systems and efficiently managing incoming supplies. You will also act as a communication liaison, triaging incoming calls and providing essential information between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals.
