About the Role
As a Pharmacy Supervisor at Walgreens, you serve as a pivotal bridge between clinical care and operational excellence. In this full-time certified pharmacy technician role, you will operate under the supervision of a pharmacist to ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience. You are accountable for managing day-to-day non-clinical operations, including the selection, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel.
Your day involves leading a team of technicians and cashiers, overseeing the delegation of non-clinical work, and driving the adoption of new technologies and processes. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience by anticipating needs, resolving complaints, and ensuring the pharmacy remains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked environment. Additionally, you will support community outreach efforts and assist in the delivery of patient care services such as immunizations and health screenings, all while maintaining strict compliance with state and federal regulations.
