About the Role
This position serves as a vital bridge between clinical expertise and patient care, transforming the pharmacy experience from a purely transactional interaction into a personalized, interpersonal journey. You will provide empathetic consulting services to patients, guiding them on the effective use of medications, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing.
Beyond clinical duties, you will manage the efficient workflow of the pharmacy, ensuring that all prescriptions are compounded, reviewed, and dispensed accurately in compliance with strict regulatory guidelines. You will play a key leadership role in fostering a positive culture by managing staff performance, overseeing training, and championing Walgreens service traits like curiosity, inclusivity, and empathy. By collaborating with the local medical community and the store management team, you will help drive strategic business opportunities and enhance the overall health and wellness awareness within the community.
