The Pharmacy Manager serves as the clinical and operational leader of the pharmacy department, driving the strategic shift from a transactional model to an interpersonal, patient-centric healthcare experience. In this role, you will provide empathetic consulting services to patients regarding medication use, drug interactions, and preventive care, including immunizations and diagnostic testing.
You will manage the entire pharmacy workflow, ensuring that all medications are compounded, reviewed, dispensed, and verified accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations. Beyond clinical duties, you will oversee the financial health of the pharmacy, manage inventory effectively, and lead a team of pharmacy staff through coaching, training, and performance management. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with the Store Manager to identify strategic business opportunities, engaging with the local medical community to expand health awareness, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and exceptional service.
