The Pharmacy Manager serves as the clinical and operational leader of the pharmacy department, driving the strategic shift from a transactional model to an interpersonal, patient-centric healthcare experience. In this role, you will provide empathetic consulting services to patients, ensuring the effective use of medications and awareness of drug interactions while delivering preventive and clinical healthcare services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing.
You will manage the entire pharmacy workflow, from compounding and verifying prescriptions to maintaining inventory and optimizing financial performance. Beyond clinical duties, you are responsible for fostering a high-performing team culture by overseeing staff training, engagement, and professional development. By collaborating with the Store Manager and the local medical community, you will identify strategic business opportunities and enhance the pharmacy's role as a vital health resource within the neighborhood.

Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff. At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co. An average rating of 3.7 or above on the leadership behaviors on the last performance review if one is on file (Internal candidates only).
