This position serves as a vital bridge between clinical expertise and patient care, transforming the pharmacy experience from a purely transactional interaction into a personalized, interpersonal healthcare journey. You will provide empathetic consulting services to patients, guiding them on the effective use of medications, drug interactions, and preventive care.
In this role, you will lead the shift toward a more holistic healthcare model by offering clinical services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and disease state management. Beyond dispensing medications, you will counsel patients on usage, side effects, and cost-effective alternatives, ensuring they understand their treatment plans. You will also manage the pharmacy's operational efficiency, financial performance, and inventory, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and patient satisfaction.
As a leader within the pharmacy team, you will oversee staff performance, engagement, and professional development. By collaborating with the Store Manager and local medical community, you will drive strategic business opportunities and enhance the pharmacy's presence as a trusted health resource in the neighborhood.
Qualified candidates will be considered for this role based on their clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and alignment with Walgreens' values. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who can effectively manage pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional patient care.
