Founded in 1901, Walgreens proudly serves nearly 9 million customers and patients each day across approximately 8,500 stores throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. With a team of nearly 220,000 members, including over 90,000 healthcare service providers, we are committed to being the first choice for pharmacy, retail, and health services. Our mission is to build trusted relationships that create healthier futures for our customers, patients, team members, and communities.
This position is designed to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and patient accessibility. Based out of various retail locations throughout North Carolina, the role operates in a hybrid environment, spending one day per week working from home to support centralized services. You will be the face of our healthcare mission, ensuring the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within strict regulatory guidelines.
In this role, you will provide pharmacy consulting services with empathy, helping patients understand effective medication usage and navigate drug interactions through our omni-channel services. Whether in person at a store or via phone, you will offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes support. Beyond clinical duties, you will support efficient pharmacy workflows, assist management in optimizing financials and inventory, and act as a sounding board for patient concerns to ensure a positive customer experience.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by our recruiting team to schedule a conversation. Please ensure your application includes all relevant licensing and certification details to facilitate the review process.
