Founded in 1901, Walgreens proudly serves nearly 9 million customers and patients each day across its approximately 8,500 stores throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. With approximately 220,000 team members, including nearly 90,000 healthcare service providers, we are committed to being the first choice for pharmacy, retail, and health services. Our mission is to build trusted relationships that create healthier futures for customers, patients, team members, and communities.
This position is designed to ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies. You will work effectively in a hybrid environment, rotating between retail locations, call centers, micro-fulfillment sites, and remote settings, with one day per week working from home to support centralized services.
In this role, you will provide pharmacy consulting services with empathy to patients, focusing on the effective usage of medications and awareness of drug interactions through omni-channel services, including in-person consultations and phone support. You will offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services. Beyond clinical duties, you will support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy, assist management in optimizing financials and inventory, and foster a collaborative team environment by promoting shared vision and staff development.
This role is based out of various retail locations throughout North Carolina, including Clarksville, Gallatin, Lawrenceburg, Manchester, Murfreesboro, and Nashville. The position requires a hybrid work model, combining on-site presence at these locations with remote support duties.
