About the Role
This position is designed for a dynamic Pharmacist who thrives in a hybrid work environment. You will be based out of various retail locations throughout North Carolina, with the flexibility to work one day per week from home to support centralized services. This unique setup allows you to leverage omni-channel capabilities, providing pharmacy consulting services with empathy to patients whether you are interacting in person at a store, via the phone, or through virtual platforms.
In this role, you will ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and company policies. Beyond clinical duties, you will offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services. You will act as a sounding board for pharmacy concerns, resolving customer queries to ensure a positive experience, while supporting pharmacy management in optimizing financials, inventory, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements
- verifiedBS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- verifiedCurrent Pharmacist license granted by the appropriate state licensing authority
- verifiedExperience performing prescription dispensing activities
- verifiedCertified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
- verifiedAt least 1 year of pharmacy experience
- verifiedExperience with pharmacy technology including Intercom, Promise, and Plus
Nice to Have
At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance. Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates. Experience with pharmacy technology including Intercom, Promise, and Plus. Has completed specialized training regarding medication and disease state or has sufficient practical experience necessary to provide specialized services offered at clinic location (HIV, Organ Transplant, Oncology, etc.).
