Are you a culinary professional seeking a career path that offers superior work-life balance and growth opportunities beyond the typical constraints of a sous chef or line cook role? This full-time personal chef position is designed for those who value consistency, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 6 pm, ensuring your evenings and weekends remain free.
In this role, you will serve as a personal chef for 8 to 9 clients weekly. Your responsibilities include managing weekly grocery shopping, crafting meal plans, preparing diverse cuisines, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. This position provides a unique platform to showcase your creativity across various culinary styles while building meaningful, long-term relationships with clients who deeply appreciate your expertise.
Beyond standard meal preparation, this role offers a dynamic day-to-day experience where you can host intimate private dining events, teach cooking classes as an instructor, lead corporate team-building workshops, and support special projects such as menu design and event catering. Unlike traditional restaurant environments, you will enjoy direct client interaction and the creative freedom to design menus without the pressure of regular late nights or weekends.
We invest heavily in our culinary team through hands-on training, mentorship, and structured career development programs. We reward hard work, creativity, and dedication, offering a clear pathway for advancement from a private chef to an event chef or culinary leader. Our culture values initiative and relationship-building, providing virtually unlimited potential for those who drive growth.
The compensation package is highly competitive, featuring a sign-on bonus, referral incentives, and performance-based raises. We offer a comprehensive benefits suite including medical and dental coverage, a 401k plan with a company match, and life and disability insurance. Additionally, we provide paid training and reimbursement for travel required during the onboarding phase.
Interview Process: The selection journey begins with a 15-minute fit call, followed by a video interview. Successful candidates will then complete a Bench Test (cooking a meal with reimbursement) and a Full Day Stage (paid).
A cover letter is highly encouraged when applying. Please note that all offers are contingent upon a background check, and we utilize E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
