About the Role

This position serves as the foundation for a career in banking at Fifth Third Bank. Selected candidates will join a 4-8 week on-boarding and education program featuring rotations in operations and Sales & Service. Upon successful completion and certification, you will transition into the Retail Personal Banker I role at our North Buckhead De Novo location in Atlanta, GA.

As a Personal Banker I, you will act as a trusted advisor, using a consultative sales process to proactively identify and meet the financial needs of customers and prospects. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of lobby leadership, aisle time, and tele-consulting to acquire new households and deepen existing relationships. You will spend a significant portion of your day (3-5 hours) engaging in outside business development activities, such as onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events. Success in this role requires building close working relationships with Business Partners across Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment divisions to provide holistic financial solutions.
