We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer Banking and Lending division. In this role, you will participate in the delivery of exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially. You will assist customers with basic requests, such as opening new accounts and submitting credit applications, while developing a deep understanding of bank products to connect with customer needs.
This position involves interacting with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships, providing appropriate options for bank products, and referring customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed. As a SAFE position, you will have customer contact and job duties that may include offering or negotiating terms for dwelling-secured transactions. Consequently, this role requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
Candidates must be able to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays and maintain cash drawers, handling balancing and service-related tasks as needed. This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment, which Wells Fargo will initiate immediately after your start date. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements, including financial responsibility, character, and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess financial fitness, though a credit score is not included in the evaluation.
Please note that this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Applications may close early due to the volume of applicants.
