This position serves as the foundation for a career in retail banking. Selected candidates will enter a comprehensive 4-8 week on-boarding and education program featuring rotations in operations and Sales & Service. Upon successful completion and certification, you will transition into the Retail Personal Banker I role.
As a Retail Personal Banker, you will act as a trusted financial advisor within the Financial Center. Your day-to-day involves using a consultative sales process to build thorough customer profiles, identify financial needs, and recommend appropriate solutions. You will focus on acquiring new households and deepening relationships with existing customers through lobby leadership, aisle time, and tele-consulting. Beyond direct customer interaction, you will process teller transactions, collaborate with business partners (such as Mortgage and Commercial teams) to provide holistic solutions, and guide Customer Service Representatives on sales and referral processes.
Candidates selected for this program will undergo a structured on-boarding and education period. This includes rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification exam to demonstrate the necessary skills for the Retail Personal Banker job family.
