The Office of Management and Enterprise Service, Finance Center of Excellence (FCoE), is driving the modernization of the State of Oklahoma's PeopleSoft Financials system. As the state accelerates the implementation of Phase II modules across numerous agencies, the FCoE CORE Team plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, accuracy, and scalability of statewide financial operations.
This position serves as a vital IT augmentation resource within the FCoE, supporting project management, implementation efforts, financial upgrades, and production support. The successful candidate will act as a key member of the CORE Team, balancing support and leadership roles to facilitate the state's modernization goals.
Day-to-day, you will function as a bridge between functional requirements and technical execution. You will collaborate closely with PeopleSoft Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, and Oracle representatives to deliver functional and technical support. Your work involves translating complex business needs into technical specifications, designing workflows for Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense modules, and ensuring adherence to statewide accounting procedures and policies.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the statewide configuration, updating manuals and job aids, and preparing comprehensive test scenarios and training materials. As a trusted advisor, you will identify project risks and obstacles, providing thorough assessments to FCoE, IS, CAR, and OMES leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
Interested candidates should submit their qualifications highlighting relevant government or State of Oklahoma experience, as well as proficiency with the current PeopleSoft PUM Image. Preference will be given to resources with a demonstrated background in state-level financial systems.
