About the Role
Use your lived experience to empower others as a Peer Specialist. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you have walked the path of recovery and want to help others do the same, this is your opportunity to turn your journey into purpose.
As a Peer Specialist, you will use your lived experience with behavioral health or substance use recovery to inspire hope, support growth, and walk alongside individuals as they build the life they want. You will be part of a compassionate, person-centered team that values your voice and the power of shared experience. This role is a meaningful fit for someone who believes that recovery is possible for everyone, wants to make a difference by encouraging others to take charge of their wellness, and is eager to use their lived experience to inspire hope and resilience in others.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School/GED required
- verifiedMust self-identify as current or former consumer of behavioral health, substance use, or co-occurring disorder services
- verifiedComplete state-approved training program and pass standardized examination
- verifiedObtain Certified Peer Specialist certification through MCB (MO) within 60 days of hire
- verifiedValid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage
