About the Team

Envision Physician Services is expanding its Pediatric Emergency Medicine department at Medical City Children's Hospital, the flagship children's hospital of the Medical City network. This 254-bed, award-winning facility delivers specialized pediatric care, featuring a 37-bed med-surg unit, a PICU, a CVICU with a robust ECMO program, and a dedicated pediatric hematology-oncology program. The site also operates a psychiatric hospital with pediatric services.

Located on the same campus as Medical City Dallas, which includes a Level IV NICU and an adult hospital, this location offers the unique distinction of being the only hospital in the DFW metroplex to provide comprehensive care for all ages, including women and infant services, under one roof. The emergency medicine group collaborates closely with exceptional subspecialists in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology, and infectious disease.

You will join a dynamic team of experienced PEM-trained physicians and acute care, pediatric-dedicated advanced practice providers delivering 24/7 coverage. The environment supports high-quality medical care for hospitalized pediatric patients, with opportunities to engage in quality improvement initiatives and share expertise with residents.

About the Role

This Physician role focuses on Pediatric Emergency Medicine within a dynamic group of providers. The position offers a flexible schedule and an outstanding quality of life, featuring a competitive compensation package with a guaranteed hourly rate plus RVUs. The department handles an annual volume of 39,000 patients across 19 pediatric ED beds and 2 triage spaces, utilizing the Meditech EMR system.

Residents and fellows will find a rich environment for professional growth, with opportunities to participate in the development of new training programs and lectureships. The role involves collaborating with a multitude of pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals, as well as working closely with dedicated pediatric nurses and support staff.
