Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, newly Magnet Designated with Distinction, is home to the Critical Care Transport Team. This specialized unit operates with a singular mission: to bring critical care to the smallest, most vulnerable patients, when and where they need it most. The team extends the walls of the hospital, ensuring that life-saving expertise is available across Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.
As a Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care RN, you will deliver advanced care on the move, transporting critically ill infants and children. This role is designed for those who thrive in dynamic, high-acuity environments where seconds count. You will collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and EMS teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Beyond clinical intervention, you will serve as a clinical leader, educator, and patient advocate. Your work will be grounded in ANA standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act, supporting continuous improvement and delivering exceptional experiences for patients and their families. This is more than a nursing position; it is an opportunity to make a difference every mile matters.
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete a competency assessment to demonstrate readiness for the specialized demands of the transport unit. Specific departmental requirements and addendums should be reviewed during the application process.
Lee Health fosters a culture built on compassion, respect, and teamwork. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
