About the Role
Join our team as a Travel Nurse on a Pediatric Respiratory Unit, where you will care for children with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. In this specialized role, you will serve as a vital link between the medical team and families, performing comprehensive assessments and administering critical therapies such as oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilator support.
Your day will involve collaborating closely with physicians and respiratory therapists to develop and update individualized care plans. You will educate patients and families on respiratory disease management, equipment use, and discharge care, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain strict infection prevention and medication safety protocols while operating and troubleshooting specialized respiratory and monitoring equipment.
