Seattle Children’s is a mission-driven organization dedicated to the promise: "Hope. Care. Cure." We exist to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. As the largest pediatric and adolescent academic medical center in the country, we serve Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho. Our founding promise remains valid today as it was over a century ago: we will care for all children in our region, regardless of the families' ability to pay.
U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks us among the nation's best children's hospitals. As a Magnet designated institution, we recognize the importance of hiring and developing great talent to provide best-in-class care. Our organizational DNA is defined by our core values: Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, Collaboration, Equity, and Innovation.
The Seattle Children’s Dental Clinic is a leader in managing dental care for children with special healthcare needs. We specialize in patients up to age 16 who have been referred for conditions such as intractable epilepsy, hematologic disorders, neuromuscular disorders, craniofacial conditions, and severe behavioral problems. For many of our patients, oral health is essential for overall health; they must be infection-free to undergo life-saving medical treatments like bone marrow transplants or cardiac surgery.
This Pediatric Dentist role operates within our Dental Clinic, Emergency Department, Inpatient areas, and Operating Rooms. You will provide high-quality surgical and preventative care for patients who cannot be safely treated in a traditional dental setting. In addition to clinical practice, you will serve as an Affiliate Faculty member at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, providing clinical training and education to pediatric dentistry residents.
Seattle Children’s welcomes people of all experiences, backgrounds, and thoughts, as this drives our spirit of inquiry and allows us to better connect with our patients and families. The people who work here are members of a community that seeks to respect and celebrate all the qualities that make each of us unique. Each of us is empowered to be ourselves.
We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Workplace and Affirmative Action Employer. We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote based on merit without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
