Pedalheads is a dynamic, high-energy team dedicated to creating breakthrough moments of joy and confidence. Our mission is to inspire kids to believe in themselves through the power of biking, fostering a culture where "I did it" moments are celebrated daily.
We are seeking Bike and Trail Instructors to join our Summer Camps. This role is designed for individuals who want to spend their summer outdoors, working in comfy clothes while actively engaging with the next generation of cyclists. It is an adventurous, fun, and incredibly rewarding position where you will spend your days outside teaching children ages 2–12.
You do not need to be a bike expert to succeed; comprehensive paid training is provided to get you started. As an Instructor, you will actively introduce new bike skills, ensure the health and safety of all campers, and serve as a positive role model and leader. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents regarding their child's progress.
This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to gain leadership experience that develops you for any future career. You will enjoy a team environment where peer friendships often last a lifetime, with evenings and weekends off to enjoy your free time. There is no feeling quite like inspiring kids to believe in themselves.
To apply, please submit your application indicating your interest in the Summer Camp Instructor position. We look for candidates who are energetic, creative, motivated, and fun. While no prior experience is necessary, candidates must be at least 16 years of age by the start of camp and comfortable leading a group of up to 6 children.
Work Dates: June 15 – August 7 Locations: Newport & Irvine (Andersen Elementary School & University Synagogue)
