As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide essential support services directly to consumers in their homes. Your primary mission is to assist individuals with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and health-related tasks to ensure their well-being and comfort. This role is critical in maintaining the consumer's quality of life while supporting their specific plan of care.
You will work closely with the consumer's family and healthcare team to deliver compassionate care. You will also monitor the consumer's health status, record vital signs, and report any changes to your supervisor to ensure timely medical attention.
Candidates must possess a valid DC Home Health Aide License, CPR and First Aid Certificate, and a current Health Certificate with TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray results. Proof of COVID vaccinations and DC MPD Clearance are also required. An NPI Number and PDMS (Medicaid) Number are necessary, though assistance is provided if needed. Please submit your resume or CV as part of your application.
