We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing Hospice team in the Oklahoma City, OK region. As a Hospice CNA, you will care for a census of 5-6 patients, providing essential support with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, grooming, and skin care. You will assist with toileting, positioning, and transfers, frequently turning and positioning bed-bound residents. Your day will also involve assisting with prescribed exercises and ROM activities, managing light housekeeping of the patient's personal unit, and providing meal assistance. A key part of your role is observing and reporting any changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.
This position requires a self-directed professional who is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill. You must be secure with issues of death and dying, maintaining a calm manner within a patient's home while demonstrating empathy, tact, and patience for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impaired.
