The Payroll Manager serves as the business owner for the payroll module within the UKG platform, overseeing the overall management, administration, and compliance of the payroll function for the Hospital District. This position is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence of all compensation activities for the organization's workforce.
You will act as a strategic partner to Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology, ensuring that payroll processes integrate seamlessly with HR systems and benefit platforms. The role involves managing the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, from processing wages and overtime to handling complex tax filings, benefit reconciliations, and year-end reporting. As a leader within the team, you will also supervise payroll staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement in a unionized healthcare environment.
