The Payroll Manager serves as the business owner for the payroll module within the UKG platform, responsible for the overall management, administration, and compliance of the payroll function for the Hospital District. This position ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant preparation, processing, and distribution of payroll for all employees.
Working closely with Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology, the Payroll Manager ensures that payroll processes integrate effectively with HR systems and that employee data remains accurate across all platforms. The role is critical in maintaining internal controls, safeguarding the confidentiality of payroll and employee information in accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Rule, and interpreting collective bargaining agreements to ensure payroll systems reflect contract provisions.
