Payroll Director - (Hybrid DFW)

• check_circleLead and oversee U.S. payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely processing
• check_circleDirect Payroll Managers in day-to-day processing, audits, and issue resolution
• check_circleEstablish and maintain payroll operational controls, procedures, and documentation
• check_circleEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and wage hour rules
• check_circleOversee payroll tax processes including reconciliations, filings, and year-end reporting
• check_circleReview payroll results and exception reports to identify trends and mitigate risk
• check_circleProvide leadership for off-cycle payrolls, special compensation, and retroactive adjustments
• check_circleCollaborate with HR, Accounting, Finance, and vendors to ensure data integrity
• check_circleServe as escalation point for complex payroll issues, audits, and inquiries
• check_circleSupport HRIS and payroll system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
• check_circleLead internal and external audits ensuring audit readiness and control effectiveness
• check_circleInvestigate and resolve complex payroll discrepancies, wage claims, and tax notices

• verifiedBachelor's degree preferred in finance, accounting, business, HR, or related field
• verifiedCPP or FPC certification strongly preferred
• verified5-7 years of progressively responsible payroll experience
• verifiedStrong working knowledge of payroll operations, tax, compliance, and internal controls
• verifiedExperience with enterprise payroll and HRIS systems
• verifiedAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
