The Patient Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for families visiting the HB Children's Neurology Clinic. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, coordinating patient schedules, and providing essential clerical support. Whether at Level 1 or Level 2, the representative plays a key part in facilitating communication between patients, providers, and the clinic's administrative systems.
You will greet patients as they arrive, managing the flow of the clinic with a welcoming demeanor. Your day involves coordinating complex schedules for patients requiring multiple services, verifying insurance eligibility, and handling financial transactions with accuracy. You will act as a liaison for families, explaining clinic operations, promoting the patient portal, and assisting with referrals and financial assistance programs. Additionally, you will manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate within the electronic medical record system.
Candidates may be hired as a Patient Services Representative Level 1 or Level 2, depending on their individual experience, expertise, and qualifications. Current OU Health employees should log in via the internal portal to apply.
