Under the direction of the practice manager or lead patient service representative, the Patient Service Representative serves as the face of Arizona Center for Cancer Care. This role is dedicated to the daily maintenance of front office functions, ensuring high levels of customer service for every patient interaction.
You will be the primary point of contact for patients, managing the full spectrum of front-desk operations from greeting and registration to scheduling and check-out. The position requires a professional demeanor when communicating with patients, physicians, office staff, and external vendors. You will handle sensitive patient information with discretion, ensuring accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) while maintaining composure and empathy, even when dealing with difficult situations or irritated patients.
