About the Role
The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of our front office team, serving as the primary point of contact for patients and their families. This role exists to ensure a seamless administrative experience, bridging the gap between clinical care and business operations. You will guide patients through the complexities of insurance verification, registration, and financial counseling, ensuring they are informed and prepared before their appointments.
In this position, you will manage the full spectrum of business office functions. Your day will involve accurately capturing charges, verifying insurance eligibility, and obtaining necessary pre-authorizations. You will also handle sensitive financial discussions, counseling patients on payment issues and collecting co-pays and deductibles at the time of service. By maintaining precise records and balancing daily receipts, you help ensure the financial integrity of our practice while delivering compassionate service.
