The Patient Escort serves as a vital link in the patient experience, responsible for transporting patients, their family members, and disabled visitors to outpatient clinic appointments. This role exists to ensure that every individual receives safe, efficient, and courteous service throughout the medical facility. Whether transporting patients via stretcher or wheelchair, assisting with vehicle entry and exit, or managing the removal of wheelchairs and walkers, the Patient Escort ensures a seamless transition for those in need.
Day-to-day, you will actively engage with valet staff and shuttle drivers to deliver the highest level of service. You will maintain adequate availability of equipment and supplies, notifying leads when inventory is low, while providing friendly customer service to all who cross your path.
