ERG is a leading U.S.-based, privately held clinical research site company specializing in early and late-stage neuroscience drug development. With 19 wholly owned and 5 affiliated sites, we conduct in-patient and out-patient Phase I-IV clinical research studies. Our capabilities include over 340 in-patient beds and a robust database of patients with mental illness, neurological disorders, sleep disorders, addictions, pain, diabetes, and other conditions, alongside healthy volunteers. With access to over 32 million subjects and more than 5,000 completed trials, ERG continues to expand into indications addressing significant unmet medical needs globally.
The Patient Care Technician is a vital member of our clinical team, dedicated to overseeing the care of subjects while they are housed on our unit. This role serves as the bridge between clinical protocols and patient well-being, ensuring that every interaction aligns with the highest standards of medical care and research integrity. You will be the face of ERG for our subjects, guiding them through their stay with compassion and professionalism.
In this position, you will manage the daily rhythm of the unit, from performing venipuncture and electrocardiograms to processing biological samples and maintaining accurate subject charts. Beyond clinical tasks, you will engage subjects in group and one-on-one activities, serve meals, and ensure their living environment is clean, safe, and comfortable. Your work is guided by Good Clinical Practices (GCP), ICH guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and our internal standard operating procedures, ensuring that every step of the trial is conducted with precision and care.
Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter detailing their relevant clinical experience. Selected applicants will be invited for an initial screening followed by an interview with the clinical team to discuss specific protocol experience and fit within our culture.
ERG is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where every team member can thrive. We believe that our strength lies in the unique perspectives and backgrounds of our staff. We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
