As a Patient Care Attendant, you will be a key member of the healthcare team, assigned to a patient under a healthcare provider's orders within a hospital setting. Your primary focus is to enable the client to feel personal comfort and safety. This role involves remaining close to the patient at all times, monitoring for behavioral issues, fall risks, and disorientation, and reporting observations immediately to the licensed healthcare team. You will support patient care under the direction of the healthcare team, assisting with tasks such as linen changes, meal tray preparation, and filling water pitchers.
