As a Patient Account Registrar, you will serve as a vital link between our patients and the healthcare system. In this role, you will interview patients or their representatives to obtain accurate demographics and secure essential insurance information, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. You will work closely with all facets of the Admitting department, including PBX operations and reception areas, ensuring a seamless experience for every visitor.
Success in this position requires the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population, utilizing age-specific techniques ranging from neonatal and pediatric care to geriatrics. You will maintain proficiency in medical terminology while operating computer systems to input and retrieve data. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to special projects and assignments with specific timelines, playing a key part in our mission to serve the community with excellence.
