About the Role
The Customer Service Representative is a vital member of our non-clinical team, working closely with medical assistants, nurses, and providers to ensure patients are seen quickly and efficiently. This role is designed to facilitate partnerships between patients, physicians, and health teams, with a strong focus on care coordination and the integration of treatment both internally and externally.
In this position, you will help patients access a full range of primary and preventive care in a sensitive manner. You will serve as the first point of contact, maintaining a warm and professional demeanor while navigating complex registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes. The role requires multitasking and adaptability, as you may be assigned specific duties by your supervisor to improve efficiency and assure the quality of patient care. You will act as a true member of the healthcare team, taking initiative to assist colleagues and ensuring that services remain accessible, continuous, and comprehensive.

- check_circleParticipate in cross-training and staff meetings to support clinic operations
- check_circleRegister and check out patients while verifying insurance and capturing patient photos
- check_circleCreate and manage patient charts using various clinic numbering systems
- check_circleCollect and balance daily encounter fee tickets and submit payments to accounting
- check_circleSchedule appointments and answer telephone inquiries for patients and providers
- check_circleTranslate for patients and relay messages to medical assistants and providers
- check_circleEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO safety and confidentiality standards
Requirements
