This position is based at the Burnet Campus within the Surgery Registration CBDI T department. The role serves as a vital link in the patient journey, providing assistance and services to patients, families, staff, and external agencies. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of patient registration, admission, and scheduling, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
In this role, you will investigate and resolve customer requests, questions, or problems according to hospital policies. You will support the Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, and Regulatory teams by ensuring necessary data and forms are accurately entered into the system, while also communicating with management regarding system errors or recommendations for improvement. Patient safety is paramount; you will ensure the correct patient is identified, special needs are recognized, and isolation precautions are prepared for patients with infectious disease indicators.
You will also play a critical role in compliance by completing and authenticating all documents and questionnaires required by regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, CMS, and ODH. Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential, as you will safeguard patient and family personal medical and financial information at all times during collection, use, and storage.
