The Patient Access Representative serves as the vital first point of contact for patients across our Crossroads, Urgent Care, and Orange Lab departments. This role is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from the moment a patient arrives or calls. You will be responsible for greeting patients, managing registrations, handling telephone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Beyond administrative duties, you will act as a bridge between patients and clinical teams, ensuring that demographic and insurance information is precise and that all pre-certification or referral requirements are met. The position also involves identifying self-pay patients and guiding them toward financial assistance options. As a team member, you will help foster a supportive environment by assisting in the shadowing and precepting of new employees.
