The Patient Access Float position serves as a vital support pillar for Anderson Hospital, ensuring seamless patient entry across all departments. As a front-line employee, you will provide excellent customer service while strictly protecting patient privacy. This role exists to guarantee backup coverage in every area of Patient Access whenever existing staff are absent, maintaining operational continuity for our 24/7 services.
You will be required to master registration responsibilities across the entire hospital and offsite locations, including learning multiple software applications used in each specific area. Flexibility in availability is essential, as you may be deployed to Outpatient, ER/Express Care, Pre-Arrival, or OB Admission Coordinator roles depending on daily needs.
Candidates must possess prior registration and customer service experience. The selection process focuses on verifying your ability to adapt quickly to various hospital workflows and software systems.
