The Parts Receiving Supervisor serves as the operational anchor for incoming inventory at our Wendell, NC facility. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain, ensuring that every part and accessory is accurately received, inspected, and stored before moving to the next stage of operations. You will lead a team dedicated to safety and precision, bridging the gap between logistics planning and floor execution.
In this position, you will manage the daily rhythm of the receiving dock, overseeing unloading, sorting, and storage processes. Your day involves coordinating inbound schedules with the logistics team, conducting quality inspections, and resolving inventory discrepancies in real-time. Beyond the technical aspects of tracking parts via software and handheld scanners, you will be responsible for the development of your team through training, mentoring, and performance coaching. You will also play a key role in optimizing warehouse efficiency by analyzing data and refining procedures to improve space utilization and workflow.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a standard interview process designed to assess both technical competency and leadership fit. This typically includes an initial screening to verify experience and availability, followed by an in-depth discussion regarding past supervisory achievements and problem-solving scenarios. Final candidates may meet with the Warehouse Manager to discuss team dynamics and operational goals before an offer is extended.
