Located at our Wilmington, North Carolina dealership, the Parts Counterperson serves as a vital link between our customers, the service department, and the body shop. This role exists to ensure the seamless flow of automotive parts, supporting both retail sales and internal repair operations. You will be the face of the parts department, assisting customers in selecting the right components, placing special orders, and providing expert pricing and product information.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of customer interaction and operational support. You will read technical manuals to ascertain part specifications, dispense parts to service technicians, and manage inventory levels. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area is essential, as is adhering to strict safety regulations and company policies. Success in this role requires balancing the needs of walk-in customers with the urgency of service department requests, all while maintaining high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards.
