As a Family Law Paralegal, you will join a collaborative, team-oriented culture to support local attorneys in the management of complex family law cases. This includes dissolutions, adoptions, parenting plans, and guardianships. The role is designed for someone with a passion for family law who is motivated to help create a pleasant workplace while delivering top-notch legal products and superior service to clients.
You will be the backbone of the legal team, assisting with case planning, development, and management. Your day will involve a mix of high-level legal support and essential administrative duties, ensuring that all deadlines are met and files are meticulously maintained. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, communicating regularly to keep them informed and providing a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk and on the phone.
This position offers a professional work environment within a standard office setting. While the role is primarily part-time (up to 30 hours per week), flexibility is required as you may occasionally need to work weekends, holidays, or be on call. The atmosphere is one of mutual respect, where maintaining a well-respected reputation among clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court staff is a priority.
