About the Role
As a PODS Driver, you are the face of our company at customer locations. Your primary mission is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of containers, maintaining excellent rapport with clients while handling all logistics with care. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, managing the entire process from loading and unloading to coordinating rental paperwork and payments directly with customers.
This role is critical to our daily operations, requiring you to navigate customer sites safely, perform necessary container inspections and minor repairs, and utilize handheld computers for verification and navigation. You will also serve as a backup for storage center functions when needed, ensuring seamless service continuity.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position must be available to attend a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program. Successful completion of this training is essential before beginning field duties.
