Join our team as a Part-Time Container Delivery Specialist, earning $21.00 per hour. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of containers to and from customer locations.
You will be the face of our service at the customer's doorstep, responsible for the delivery and pickup of containers while maintaining excellent rapport with clients. Your day will involve operating a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers safely. Beyond driving, you will act as a problem solver, coordinating rental paperwork, handling payments, and communicating directly with customers to resolve any questions or issues.
The role requires a hands-on approach to vehicle and equipment maintenance. You will perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable, and perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center. You will also utilize company handheld computers for delivery verification and navigation, and may be called upon to operate forklifts or overhead cranes as business needs dictate.
Selected candidates must be willing to attend a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program to ensure readiness for the role. Successful completion of this training is a prerequisite for starting your duties.
