Part-Time Delivery Driver Opportunity

Join our team as a Part-Time Delivery Driver, earning $21.00 per hour. In this role, you are responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. Your primary focus is ensuring an incident-free operation while maintaining excellent rapport with our customers.

About the Role

You will drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites. Safety is paramount; you must strictly follow all safety rules during every operation. Beyond driving, you will perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, and operate forklifts or overhead cranes as needed.

Your day involves coordinating rental paperwork and payments with customers, using handheld computers for delivery verification and navigation, and communicating with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding any customer questions or issues. You will also be expected to clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable, perform minor repairs on containers and lifts in the field or at the storage center, and maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid CDL Class B License without air brake restrictions. A current driver's license and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (or the ability to obtain a 1-year certification) are required to meet DOT standards. Successful applicants must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards and be available to attend the required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
