About the Role
This position is the vital link between our store operations and our customers' homes. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and professional delivery of merchandise, from the moment an order is planned to the final installation in a customer's home. Your day will involve coordinating delivery activities, managing logistics for large appliances, and executing in-home services that require precision and care.
You will act as a brand ambassador, providing SMART customer service by seeking out needs, demonstrating products, and walking customers through projects. Whether you are coordinating with truck drivers, verifying invoice details, or installing and testing appliances upon arrival, your goal is to deliver a seamless experience that reflects the quality of Lowe's. You will also maintain the safety and organization of our delivery vehicles and store areas, ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL license (depending on vehicle type) and a valid medical certificate. The selection process includes a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screen and verification of ability to obtain necessary sales-related licensure. Candidates with prior experience driving semi-trucks, performing in-home delivery, or operating forklifts will be given preference.
